The Diocesan Catechetical office is one of the pastoral offices of the Diocese of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

It is supported by three regional offices and resource centres.

These offices offer vision, direction, and assistance to ninety-five parishes and missions in the area of catechesis.

Our mission is to support parish based catechesis for children and youth. This involves a partnership with children, youth, families, parish communities and parish catechists.

The Catechetical office was initiated in 1968 as the Religious Education office. The first director was Rev. Frank McDonald followed by Rev. Kevin Barry, Sr. Doreen McGuire, Rev. William Brennan and presently Madelyn Ramier.
